15/02/21 Please note that owing to the current lockdown preventing the builders from completing the renovations until after Wednesday this week, there will be no classes held at Cobbin Farm on the coming Thursday and Friday. The Office will open on those days. At this stage assume that classes will begin on Monday 22nd February, unless notified otherwise. Classes at other venues, and Zoom classes, will go ahead as scheduled. 12/02/2021 Dear Members, As you have no doubt already heard, the Victorian government has re-introduced Stage 4 lockdown restrictions for five days, starting from tonight at 11.59pm and finishing next Wednesday, 17th February at 11.59pm, in order to deal with the outbreak of the ‘U.K. Strain’ of the coronovirus. Regretfully, this means that U3A Geelong will have to postpone its resumption of face-to-face classes until after that date. All classes at all venues on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of next week are therefore cancelled, and will, we hope resume after the lifting of restrictions on the projected date.
